Judy Dickinson

Judy Dickinson, who worked in a bottling factory, as a mail carrier, as a groundskeeper, and as a substitute teacher, before turning pro at 27, has been a member of the LPGA Tour since 1978.
Played on the LPGA between 1978 and 2000, she played in 488 events making 392 cuts. She was in the top-ten 93 times and won 4 times. She played in 25 events in 1986, finishing out of the top-30 four times and in the top-ten, 12 times. She won the Rochester International and the Safeco Classic and won $195,833. Her best year was 1992, she played in 26 events winning the Inamori Classic and having three runner-up finishes. She won $351,559 which placed her 10th on the money list.
In her 22 year career, she won $2,177,097. Judy and her husband, PGA Tour golfer, Gardner Dickinson, had their twins Barron Fredric and Spencer Lawrence on Sept. 3, 1989. Judy was the President of the LPGA Tour from 1990-92 and also help lead the LPGA 50th anniversary celebration effort. Dickinson also serves on the advisory board to the World Golf Hall of Fame between 2000 and 2009 and is a member of the LPGA Tour Hall of Fame veteran's committee.
After she left the LPGA she began teaching and became the Head Professional and director of marketing/instruction at the West Palmer Beach Golf Course in 2009. She is also an instructor at Jupiter Hills Club.
