Junggon Hwang

Started playing golf at the age of 13, admiring Ernie Els but his father was reluctant to agree to pursuing golf as a career. He was trained at the Golf Academy of Korea where he developed his potential as a professional golfer. He turned pro at 15.
Won the 2011 Gateway to the Open Mizuno Open which gained him entry into the British Open where he finished 71st. In 2012, won for the second time at Casio World Open.
