Karah Sanford

At just 14 years old, Sanford will be playing in her third USGA championship, having already qualified for the 2014 U.S. Women?s Amateur, where she made the cut for match play but was eliminated in the round of 64, and the 2015 U.S. Girls? Junior, making the round of 16. She has dominated competition at the U.S. Kids World Championship, winning in 2011 and 2013, and finishing runner-up in 2009 and 2012. She won the Callaway Junior World in 2010 and also the TaylorMade World Master of Junior Golf in 2010, 2011 and 2013, while finishing as runner-up in 2012. She also captured titles at the FCG World Championship in 2010, San Diego Junior Masters in 2011, six times at the San Diego Junior Amateur, at the Western States Players Cup in 2011, Las Vegas Junior, City of Los Angeles Annual Junior Golf and Callaway FCG Pacific Coast in 2011.
In 2014, she was a national finalist at the inaugural Drive, Chip and Putt Championship.
She finished 4th at the 2015 Junior PGA Championship.
This year, she made the cut and finished T-51st at the Volunteers of America Texas Shootout, an LPGA Tour event. She also finished T-12th at the ANNIKA Invitational, 11th at the Thunderbird International Junior and 6th at the Winn Grips Heather Farr Classic hosted by Longbow GC.
When she is not golfing, she enjoys playing the guitar and singing. She has made 10 holes-in-one.
