Kathryn Imrie

Imrie started playing golf at the age of 10 and had a successful junior career. She was the 1981 and 1985 Scottish Schools' champion, 1983-85 Scottish Youth's champion, the 1983 Scottish Junior Match Play champion and the Scottish Junior Open Strokeplay Champion in 1985, 1986, and 1987. In addition, she was a member of the 1984 and 1986-89 Scottish International Team and competed on the 1990 Curtis Cup Team. She went on to compete at the University of Arizona and received All-American honors in 1989. Irmie turned professional in 1990. She played on the Ladies European Tour from 1991 to 2008 and the LPGA Tour from 1993 to 2006, play 283 events and making the cut 173 times. She had 12 Top 10s and won once on the LPGA Tour, the 1995 Jamie Farr Toledo Classic, becoming the first Scot to win on tour. She set an LPGA record by carding 11 birdies during a round at Rail Golf Club in Ill., shooting 62 to equal the LPGA scoring mark. She won a total of $1,096,750 on the LPGA Tour.
In 2017, Irmie joined the Stanford women's golf team as a volunteer assistant coach. She is also the golf instructor at Sharon Heights Golf and Country Club where she works five days a week. In 2018, she finished T30 at the Senior LPGA Championship.

Kathryn shot 84-79=163 (+17) to miss the cut in the insugural U.S. Senior Women's Open.
