Career Highlights
In 2000, came close to successfully defending her title at the LPGA Corning Classic, eventually losing in a three-way, sudden-death playoff to Betsy King; the tie for second was her best finish of the season; recorded her first career hole-in-one during the first round of the Arch Wireless Championship.
In 1999, became a Rolex First-Time Winner at the LPGA Corning Classic; tied for second at the Jamie Farr Kroger Classic, where she lost in a six-way, sudden-death playoff to Se Ri Pak; fired a career-low score of 64 during the first round of the U.S. Women's Open, where she placed third.
In 1998, best finish came at the First Union Betsy King Classic, where she tied for 20th.
Amateur
Kuehne owns an impressive amateur golf resume. She is one of only two players in USGA history to win the U.S. Girls' Junior Championship (1994) and the U.S. Women's Amateur Championship (1995) in successive years. In 1996, she won the British Women's Amateur Championship, as well as the U.S. Women's Amateur Championship, becoming the only golfer in history to win those two championships in the same year. Kuehne was also a member of the 1996 U.S. Curtis Cup and World Amateur Teams and earned first team All-American honors at the University of Texas.
Personal

Started playing golf at the age of 10...Credits her brothers, Trip and Henry, and teacher Hank Haney as the individuals most influencing her career...Hobbies include spending time outdoors, hunting, fishing, being with her friends, family and dog (Lexi Lou), promoting education and awareness for juvenile diabetes and most of all, hanging out in Texas...Qualified for the Tour on her first attempt...Is a spokesperson for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF)...Winner of the 2000 Daytona Beach (Fla.) Kiwanis Foundation
Humanitarian of the Year Award.
