Kevin Foley

Foley played in three U.S. Public Links Championships, in 2006, 2007 and 2008. He reached the round of 16 in the first two before failing to reach match play in 2008. He was the IJGT Tour champion in 2006. Also in his amateur days, he won the 2009 Sunnehanna Amateur, and qualified for the 2009 U.S. Amateur, but did not advance to match play.
At Penn State, where Foley was a first-team All-Big Ten selection and 2007 Big Ten Freshman of the Year, he won three events. In 2007-2008, his sophomore year, he won twice, at the Memphis Intercollegiate and the VCU Shootout. He captured the Lehigh Invitational in his junior year. That same year, he was the runner-up at the 2009 Big Ten Championships. Three times he was a Mid-Atlantic All-Region selection.
Since turning professional in 2010, Foley has played many of his events on the Web.com Tour. In 64 total events from 2011 to 2016, Foley has 10 top-25 and six top-10 finishes. In 2012, he made the cut in 10 of his 16 tries and finished with four top-10 finishes, with bests of 5th at the Nationwide Children?s Hospital Invitational and T-5th at the Winn-Dixie Jacksonville Open Presented by Planters.
He broke through in 2013 when he secured the Panama Claro Championship in his first start on tour of the season. The victory earned him $108,000. He went on to make just eight cuts in 23 tries, however. His lone top-10 aside from the win was a T-6th at the BMW Charity Pro-Am Presented by SYNNEX Corporation.
He moved to the PGA Tour in 2014. He managed to make five cuts in 15 events. His best finish was T-35th at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am.
This season, he has played in five Web.com tournaments, making the cut in just one, a 76th at the Panama Claro.
