Lei Ye

In 2018, she and Yachun Chang advanced to the championship match of the U.S. Women's Amateur Four-Ball but were defeated by Colorado State University teammates Katrina Prendergast and Ellen Secor, 1 up. Ye and Chang held a 2-up lead through 14 holes but could not hold on for victory as the winners birdied three consecutive holes to take a 1-up lead into the 18th hole.
They held the first-round lead in stroke play in the Women's Amateur Four-Ball with a record-tying 8-under-par 64.
Also in 2018, she finished T-20th in the Asia-Pacific Women's Amateur.
Also won the 2018 ANNIKA Invitational.
Likes to be called Angelina and was a 2017 Rolex Junior All-America second-team selection. Has two American Junior Golf Association victories, including the 2018 Annika Invitational. She played in the 2018 Symetra Tour's Florida's Natural Charity Classic, finishing tied for 7th. Attends IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla. and has verbally committed to attend Stanford University in 2019.
Advanced to the first-round of match play in the 2016 and 2017 U.S. Girls' Junior.
She played on the Wyndham Cup East team in 2016.
Ye played her first professional event Buick Ladies Invitational in 2014, finishing as second-runner up, at age 12.
She also had wins at China Amateur Tour, Volvo China Junior Match Play, and finishing eighth at the TLPGA event, CTBC Ladies Open. Ye also participated in her first LPGA event at Blue Bay LPGA, age 13. She started 2015 finishing sixth in the stroke play of the Australian Women's Amateur.
She picked up her first AJGA career win at the 2016 Wells Fargo Junior Classic presented by Callaway Golf
