Leta Lindley

Shot 144 and was medalist at the Rockville, Md., sectional, qualifying for the 2011 U.S. Women's Open.
Started playing golf at the age of 9. Credits her parents Marlin and Diep Lindley, golf teacher Ludwig Keehn and husband Matt Plagmann as the individuals most influencing her career. Inducted into the National Golf Coaches Association Players Hall of Fame on Jan. 23, 2006. Married Matt Plagmann on Feb. 3, 1996. Gave birth to son Cole Plagmann, in 2004, and daughter Reese Plagmann, in 2006, which she considers her greatest achievements.
Played collegiate golf at the University of Arizona, where she was a four-time All-American selection, three-time Academic All-American honoree, set an NCAA record for lowest 54-hole score (which has since been broken) and finished third at the 1993 NCAA Championship. In addition, she was the medalist at the 1994 U.S. Women's Amateur.
In 1994, turned professional in the summer; tied for 52nd at the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament to earn non-exempt status for the 1995 LPGA season.
In 1995, her rookie season, tied for third at the State Farm Rail Classic and tied for fifth at the U.S. Women's Open.
In 1996, best finish was a tie for 12th at the Safeway LPGA Golf Championship.
In 1997, recorded a career-best finish with a runner-up showing at the McDonald's LPGA Championship, where she lost to Chris Johnson on the second hole of a sudden-death playoff; recorded her first LPGA career hole-in-one during the second round of the First Bank Presents the Edina Realty LPGA Classic.
In 1998, best finish was a tie for fourth at the Giant Eagle LPGA Classic.
In 1999, best finish was a tie for second at the City of Hope Myrtle Beach Classic.
In 2000, crossed the $1 million mark in career earnings following a tie for third at the Arch Wireless Championship, her season-best finish.
In 2001, carded a career-low 64 during the first round of the Wendy's Championship; best finish was a tie for sixth at the YourLife Vitamins LPGA Classic.
In 2002, recorded three top-10 finishes, including a tie for seventh at the Evian Masters.
In 2003, best finish was fourth at the Safeway Classic.
In 2004, gave birth to her first child, son Cole; best finish of the season was third at the Giant Eagle LPGA Classic.
In 2005, recorded four top-10 finishes including a tie for third at the BMO Financial Group Canadian Women's Open; crossed the $2 million mark in career earnings after a tie for 25th at the Kraft Nabisco Championship.
In 2006, played just three events before taking the rest of the season off for the birth of her second child, daughter Reese Lynn.
In 2007, best finish was a tie for 21st at the Wegmans LPGA.
In 2008, became a first-time winner at the LPGA Corning Classic, where she defeated Jeong Jang in a one-hole, sudden-death playoff; tied Missie McGeorge for third on the list of longest time on Tour before first win (295 starts).
In 2009, best finish was a tie for 17th at the CVS/pharmacy LPGA Challenge where she carded a season-low 66 in the third round.
In 2010, best finish was a tie for 21st at the CVS/pharmacy LPGA Challenge.
