Lindy Duncan

She began playing golf at age 9 when her father set up a studio inside the house where Duncan could hit balls into a net and study her swing on video.
Named first-team All-American in her first two years at Duke in 2010 and 2011, becoming only the sixth Duke player to accomplish the feat. She became the fourth golfer to win the ACC Player of the Year Award twice, which she accomplished in her first two seasons. T-8th at the 2011 NCAA Championship as an individual. Had nine top-10 finishes for the Blue Devils in the 2011 season. Has two collegiate wins, including the 2011 LSU Tiger Golf Classic and the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic during the 2009-10 season. Named 2010 ACC Rookie of the Year. Won the 2010 Dixie Amateur Championship at the Heron Bay Golf Club in Coral Springs, Fla., by five strokes. Named 2008 Sun-Sentinel Player of the Year. Posted seven top-five finishes in AJGA events in 2008, including a victory at the First American Title Junior Classic. Played in the 2008 LPGA Ginn Open and missed the cut. Member of the East Team at the 2007 and 2008 Canon Cup. Was the Florida 1A individual girls' state champion in 2008.
Semifinalist in the 2006 U.S. Women's Amateur. She played in four U.S. Girls' Juniors from 2005-08, with her best finish coming in 2008, when she reached the quarterfinals.
She played on the 2012 U.S. Curtis Cup team.
She was T-15th at the 2013 U.S. Women's Open in her second professional start.
She had LPGA status starting in 2014 but did not play the Tour full-time until 2016. She played on the Symetra Tour from 2013 to 2015. Her best finish was T-2nd in the 2015 FireKeepers Casino Hotel Championship and Guardian Retirement Championship. Finished as runner-up at the 2014 Credit Union Classic.
2016 Notes: Played in 20 LPGA events making 14 cuts. Her best finish was T-11th at the LPGA Volvik Championship, she finished 89th on the money list with $140,373.
2017 Notes: Played in 21 LPGA events making 14 cuts. Had two top-10 finishes, T-7th at the Manulife Financial LPGA Classic and T-8th at the McKayson New Zealand Women's Open. Was 82nd on the money list with $165,583.
2018 Notes: Played in 27 LPGA events making 25 cuts with three top-ten finishes. She was 42nd on the money list in $534,860 and ranked 38th in the Race to CME. Runner-up at the Volunteers of America LPGA Texas Classic, she was a shot back of winner Sung Hyun Park. Duncan birdied the last three holes for a final-round 64 and lost by one after Park chipped in on her last hole. Finished T-6th at the Lotte Championship. Also, T-4th at the LPGA Volvik Championship 3 shots back of winner Minjee Lee.
2019 Notes: Played in 25 LPGA Tour events, making 13 cuts. She was 95th on the money list with $130,654 in earnings. Best finish T-24th at the Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational with partner Ally McDonald.
2020 Notes: Played in 14 LPGA Tour events, making 8 cuts. She was 90th on the money list with $88,492 in earnings and was 80th in CME Points. Best finish T-24th at the LPGA Drive On Championship Reynolds Lake Oconee.
2021 Notes: Played in 19 LPGA Tour events, making 13 cuts. She was 111th on the money list with $104,311 in earnings and 108th in CME Points. Best finish T-29th, Meijer LPGA Classic.
2022 Notes: Played in 10 LPGA Tour events, making 4 cuts. She was 126th on the money list with $82,017 in earnings and was 115th in CME Points. Her best finish was T-9th at the CP Women?s Open. She also made 14 starts on the Epson Tour and was 60th on the money list. After the season, she finished T-38th at LPGA Q Series to retain her card for 2023.
2023 Notes: She had her best finishing since 2018 with a 3rd place finish at the Dana Open. She was six shots back of the winner Linn Grant.
