Lisa DePaulo

Lisa DePaulo started playing golf at the age of nine and went to the University of Texas at Austin on a full golf scholarship. She was the 1984-85 San Diego Women's Amateur Champion. After graduating from Texas in 1988, she turned professional. She participated in 15 Q-Schools over the years and took 12 years to get her first LPGA Tour card. She won events on the Futures Tour, Players West Tour, and Pacific Tour.
She made it to the LPGA in 2000 and played in 18 events and made 10 cuts. Her best finish was T-31st in First Union Betsy King Classic. She made $18,895 which finished 147th on the money list. She lost her LPGA card but got it back to play in 2004.
She played in seven U.S. Women's Open Championships, four LPGA Championships and one British Open. Notably, in the 2000 Ladies British Open, she was the only American to travel overseas to go and qualify for the event at Royal Birkdale.
She created a company in 2005 called Tournament Treasures, which makes gift packages for golf events. As founder and director, Lisa has nurtured existing business relationships in the golf world and formed partnerships with vendors and golf professionals to provide whatever is needed to improve any golf tournament experience from gifts, to players to motivational speakers.
In 2012, her mother was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer and she spent the next 20 months with her having more fun that they had ever had together. Her mother passed away in October 2014. With the experience, DePaulo has spent time spreading awareness for colonoscopies.
In her spare time, Lisa enjoys cooking and playing pickleball. She still plays golf and has participated in the Legends Tour, including finishing T-27th in the 2017 Senior LPGA Championship and T-44th in the 2018 Senior LPGA CHampionship. She was determined to make it into the U.S. Senior Women's Open last year and now knows that her Mom would absolutely love her playing in it. Lisa shot 80-75-81-74=310 (+18) to finish T-37th in the first U.S. Senior Women's Open
