Masahiro Kawamura

Kawamura is the son of Masayuki and Naomi and started playing golf at age 5. His father introduced him to the game and was his inspiration growing up. Kawamura didn't play any other sports as a kid. Kawamura's hobbies include listening to music. He says the biggest strength of his game is his iron play. Kawamura won the 2011 Japan Junior Golf Championship and turned professional in December of that year. In 2013, he captured the Asia-Pacific Panasonic Open to earn a full card on the Asian Tour.
