Mathew Goggin

Has played just about every tour, member of the PGA Tour in 2000-03 and 2006-10 & 2012. Member of the Web.com Tour in 1999, 2004-05 & 2013. Member of the European Tour in 1997 & 1998.
His mother Lindy, is a three-time Australian Amateur champion. Mathew's uncle, Bill Goggin, is a former Australian rules football player. As an amateur, Goggin won the 1995 Australian Amateur, played at Huntingdale Golf Club in Melbourne, Victoria, 2 & 1 over American Jamie Crow. He also won the 1995 Tasmanian Amateur, played at Seabrook Golf Club in Wynyard, Tasmania, over fellow Tasmanian Peter Toogood.
Goggin is currently a member of the Web.com Tour. He was previously a member of the PGA Tour from 2000 to 2003, and regained his card in 2006. He was a member of the Web.com Tour in 1999, 2004 and 2005. His best PGA Tour year-end money list finish was in 2008 when he finished in 40th. Before playing in the States, he played in Europe. He was a member of the Challenge Tour in 1996 and played on the Challenge Tour and the European Tour in 1997. He was also a member of the European Tour in 1998. He also played on the PGA Tour of Australasia. Goggin was on the PGA Tour until 2010, when he lost his Tour card after finishing 159th. He went back to the Web.com Tour for 2011. Goggin won the first tournament of the season, the Panama Claro Championship.

2012 Notes: On the PGA Tour made just six cuts in 19 starts. Finished in the top 30 in the first three of four events in the fall, with a T13th at the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open his best showing. Followed up with a T22nd at the Frys.com Open. Ended the year No. 177th on the money list. Later in the year finished T27 at the PGA Tour Q-School. Closed with a birdie on his last hole to shoot 72 at PGA West Stadium Course but his 16-under total was one shot shy of what he needed to regain his card for 2013. Late in the year, traveled to his homeland and T8 at the Australian PGA Championship.
