Meena Lee

Started playing golf at age 14 and credits her father as the individual who most influenced her career. Compiled a solid amateur record in a short period, including a spot on the 2001 Korean National Team. Won the 2000 Korean Amateur Championship and 2001 Sports Toto Open.
In 2002, she turned professional in March, won three tournaments and had six top-10 finishes on the Korea LPGA Tour, finishing as the leading money-winner and earning KLPGA Rookie of the Year and Most Valuable Player honors.
In 2003, she played in nine events on the KLPGA Tour, winning one event and posting three top-10 finishes to take fifth on the money list.
In 2004, she played in 14 events on the Futures Tour and finished 23rd on the money list courtesy of three top-10 finishes. She placed T-25th at the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament, earning exempt status for the 2005 LPGA season.
In 2005, she became one of 10 Rolex First-Time Winners with her first-place finish at the BMO Financial Group Canadian Women's Open. Recorded an additional five top-10 finishes, including second place at the Louise Suggs Rolex Rookie of the Year race to Paula Creamer.
In 2006, she won her second LPGA event after a three-hole, sudden-death playoff with Seon Hwa Lee at the Fields Open in Hawaii, where she crossed the $1 million mark in career earnings.
In 2007, she recorded a season-best T-8th at both the Ginn Open and Hana Bank Championship.
In 2008, she recorded a season-best runner-up finish at the P&G Beauty NW Arkansas Championship, where she tied her career-low 65 in the second round, and carded a 65 in the second round of the Wegmans LPGA, where she finished T-16th. Crossed the $2 million mark in career earnings at the U.S. Women's Open.
In 2009, she recorded a season-best T-3rd at the Evian Masters, where she tied a career-low 65 in the final round.
In 2010, her best finish was fifth place at the Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia.
In 2011, she recorded three top-10 finishes including sixth at the LPGA HanaBank Championship and a T-6th at both the Wegmans LPGA Championship and Navistar LPGA Classic.
Her best finish in 2012 was second at the LPGA Lotte Championship.
2012 Notes: Played in 26 events, making 22 cuts. She had two top-10 finishes, including a season-best runner-up finish at the LPGA Lotte Championship. Earned $374,312, which ranked her 38th on the Tour money list.
2013 Notes: Played in 26 events, making 20 cuts. Had four top-20 finishes, including a season-best fourth-place finish at the Manulife Financial LPGA Classic. Earned $324,362 which ranked her 45th on the Tour money list. Crossed the $4 million mark in career earnings at the Manulife Financial LPGA Classic.
2014 Notes: She was 26th on the money list with 589,337 and 39th in CME points with four top 10s, including a runner-up finish at the North Texas Shootout (six back of Stacy Lewis.). She was T-5th at the U.S. Women?s Open and T-8th at the ShopRite LPGA Classic and Walmart NW Arkansas Championship.
In 2015, she has had two top-25 finishes, including T-16th at the ShopRite Classic and T-22nd at the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship.

Her hobbies include reading and crafts. She credits her unwillingness to play the piano for her successful golf career and said that she started playing golf because she didn't want to take piano lessons.
