Won a stirring final at the 2001 U.S. Women's Amateur, defeating Nicole Perrot with a birdie on the 37th hole at Flint Hills National Golf Club in Andover, Kan. Aug. 25, 2001 was named â??Meredith Duncan Dayâ? by State of Louisiana. Mother, Debbie Duncan, was a member of the U.S. Girls' Junior Championship Committee. Wears a golf angel on her right collar for her aunt and grandfather who have passed away. Also wears a diamond necklace with stones from her grandmother's wedding ring. Won back-to-back titles at the 2000-01 Women's Western Championship and won the 2001 North and South Amateur Championship. While at Louisiana State University (LSU), was an NCAA First-Team All-American selection in 2001 and 2002. In 2002, was a member of the USA Curtis Cup Team and was named the LSU Tiger Athletic Foundation Athlete of the Year. Was also the 2002 Dinah Shore Award recipient and Nancy Lopez Award recipient.
In 2003, tied for fifth at the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament to earn exempt status for the 2004 LPGA season; competed on the Futures Tour; played on the Kosaido Ladies Asian Circuit, where she finished 15th on the order of merit.
In 2004, carded a career-low 67 during the final round of the Longs Drugs Challenge; did not retain her status for the 2005 LPGA season.
In 2005, competed on the Futures Tour and recorded three top-10 finishes, including a tie for seventh at the Laconia Savings Bank FUTURES Golf Classic; returned to the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament, where she finished 13th to regain exempt status for the 2006 LPGA season.
In 2006, recorded a career-best finish at the Longs Drugs Challenge, where she tied for 10th and tied her career-low of 67 during the final round; returned to the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament and tied for 34th to earn non-exempt status for the 2007 LPGA season.
In 2007, best finish was a tie for 22nd at the SemGroup Championship Presented by John Q. Hammons; returned to the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament, where she tied for ninth to earn exempt status for the 2008 LPGA season.
In 2008, recorded a career-best tie for fifth at the LPGA Corning Classic; carded a career-low 66 in the third round of the LPGA State Farm Classic, where she tied for 34th.
In 2009, best finish was a tie for 14th at the LPGA Corning Classic.
In 2010, made two cuts in nine starts; best finish was a tie for 65th at the U.S. Women's Open.
