Mina Harigae

Began playing golf at age 8. Her parents, Yasunori and Mafumi Harigae are from Japan and ran a sushi restaurant in Monterey, Calif. She went to high school at the Stephenson School in Pebble Beach, and her golf team played its home matches at Spyglass Hill.
Won the 2007 U.S. Women's Amateur Public Links Championship at Kearney Hill Golf Links with a 4-and-3 victory over Stephany Fleet. She played in five Women's Amateur Public Links, five U.S. Girls' Juniors (best finish was semifinals in 2003 and 2006), five Women's Amateurs, and the 2007 U.S. Women's Open, where she made the cut. Medalist at the 2006 U.S. Girls' Junior after shooting an 8-under 64 at Carmel Country Club. Member of the 2008 USA Curtis Cup Team, which notched a 13-7 victory.
Won the 2002-05 California Women's State Championships. Also won the 2007 AJGA Verizon Junior Heritage and the 2006 AJGA Heather Farr Classic. An AJGA Rolex All-American first-team selection in 2005, 2006, and 2007. Has played with Tom Watson (2004) and Tom Kite (2005 and 2006) at The First Tee Open. Lowest competitive score of 62 at the 2006 AJGA Polo Classic.
Played the first part of 2009 at Duke and then, after appearing in just three events, turned professional to play on the Duramed Futures Tour.
Finished first on the Futures Tour season-ending money list to earn membership for the 2010 LPGA season. Won three times in 2009 on the Futures Tour, including the Ladies Titan Tire Challenge, Michelob ULTRA Duramed Futures Players Championship, and the Falls Auto Group Classic.
In 2010, recorded a career-best T-8th at the Safeway Classic Presented by Coca-Cola. Carded her first LPGA career hole-in-one at the LPGA State Farm Classic.
In 2011, recorded a career-best finish of a T-6th at the Mizuno Classic.
In 2012, played in 26 events, making 19 cuts and earning $304,057. Her best finish was a T-7th at the LPGA KEB HanaBank Championship. She had seven top-20 finishes, including a T-15th at the Wegmans LPGA Championship.
2013 Notes: Played in 26 events and made the cut 20 times. She recorded four top-10 finishes, with a best finish of a T-5th at Sunrise LPGA Taiwan Championship. She earned $285,195 to place her 49th on the money list.
2014 Notes: She was 50th on the money list and 56th in CME points, with 24 cuts made in 27 starts. She had two top-10 finishes T8s in Kingsmill and NW Arkansas.
In 2015 played in 25 LPGA Tour events making 17 cuts. She was 82nd on the money list with $130,703 and 77th on the CME points list. best finish was T-16th at the Pure Silk-Bahamas LPGA Classic.
In 2016 played in 19 LPGA Tour events making 9 cuts. She was 120th on the money list with $46,508 and 117th on the CME points list. Best finish was in the first event of the season, T-31st Pure Silk-Bahamas LPGA Classic.
In 2017 played in 17 LPGA Tour events making seven cuts with one top-ten finish. She was 116th on the money list with $79,636 and 107th on the CME points list. Best finish was T-10th at the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship.
2018 Notes: Played in 21 LPGA Tour events making 13 cuts with two top-ten finishes. Was 83rd on the money list with $188,279 and was 81st on the CME points list. Best finish was T-7th at the Indy Women in Tech Championship.
2019 Notes: Played in 21 LPGA Tour events making 11 cuts with one top-ten finish. Was 110th on the CME points list. Best finish was T-9th at the Thornberry Creek LPGA Classic.
2020 Notes: Played in 11 LPGA events making nine cuts with four top-ten finishes. She was 34th on the money list with $327,376 and was 52nd on the CME points list. It was her most productive year since she joined the tour in 2010. Her best finish was T-4th at the LPGA Drive On Championship Reynolds Lake Oconee, 3 shots back of winner Ally Ewing. She was 4th at the last event of the year CME Group Tour Championship. During the break for COVID-19, she played on the Cactus Tour, winning four times.
2021 Notes: Played in 21 LPGA events, making 18 cuts, and was a career-best 22nd on the money list with earnings of $791,757, with five top 10s. Was 36th on the CME points list. She had the first runner-up finish of her career with a T-2 in the 54-hole, rain-shortened Marathon Classic, finishing six back of winner Nasa Hataoka. She was named as a captain's pick to the U.S. Solheim Cup by Pat Hurst, making the team for the first time in her career. She was 1-2-0 in the matches. Finished T-3 in the CME Group Tour Championship, five back of winner Jin Young Ko.
2022 Notes: Played in 23 LPGA Tour events, making 15 cuts with one top-ten finish. She was 15th on the money list with 1,293,471 in earnings and was 51st in CME Points. She was 2nd in the U.S. Women's Open, four shots back of winner Minjee Lee, matching her career-best finish. Harigae shot 64 in round one at Pine Needles to take the 18-hole lead and finished with rounds of 69-70-72 to finish four back for her first top-10 finish of the season. Harigae ended her season with a 53rd place finish at the CME Group Tour Championship.
2023 Notes: She got married to Travis Kreiter on March 18 in a ceremony at Superstition Mountain. Best finish for the year, T-24th at the KPMG Women's PGA Championship.
