Misuzu Narita

Began playing golf at age 12 and credits her father, Toshihiro, for introducing her to the sport.
Has played on the Japan LPGA Tour dating back to 2012. Garnered her first professional victory at the Fujitsu Ladies that year. Her next best finish was eighth-place at the Nichi-Iko Ladies Open. Was named the Japan LPGA Tour Rookie of the Year in 2012 and Japan Professional Sport Rookie of the Year. Won the NEC Karuizawa 72 Golf Tournament the following year after firing rounds of 72-65-65 for her second professional win. Captured four fifth-place finishes at the Nichirei Ladies, Earth Mondahmin Cup, Women's Open and Masters Golf Club Japan event, where she shot 72-71-67.
2014 Notes: Won the World Ladies Championship Salonpas Cup behind her final-round 67, which edged the runner-up by one stroke. Also claimed a runner-up finish at the Fujisankei Ladies Classic, sixth place at the KKT Cup Ladies Open and an eighth-place finish at the Chuyko TV Bridgestone Ladies Open. Most recently, Misuzu won the Yonex Ladies Golf Tournament after shooting 68-68-72 for an 8-under total.
2015 notes: She won the Suntory Ladies Open and Studio Alice Ladies Open and placed 7th at the Chukyo TV Bridgestone Ladies Open and Fuji Sankei Ladies Classic. Played in 28 JLPGA events and made 25 cuts.
2016 notes: Had five top-five finishes in 34 JLPGA events. Finished 13th on the JLPGA money list.
2017 notes: Played in 31 JLPGA events and made 26 cuts. Claimed one title and
finished 11th on the JLPGA money list.
2018 notes: Won three JLPGA events, the Fujitsu Ldies, Earth Mondamine Cup and the Miyazatomi Suntory Ladies Open. Made 26 cuts in 31 events on the JLPGA. Finished 5th on the JLPGA money list.
2019 notes: Won the Yamaha Ladies Open Ibaraki. Finished T-5th at the Fuji Sankei Ladies Classic.
When she's not playing golf, she likes to sing, listen to music and watch baseball games. Believes yellow is her lucky color, which is why her golf bag is yellow. Her most memorable golf experience is when she made a 16-foot birdie putt on the second playoff hole of the NEC Karuizawa 72 Golf Tournament to win the event. She started the day six strokes behind the leader, but her 7-under par 65 allowed her to catch up.
