* Got on the PGA Tour by finishing 10th on the Nike Tour money list from 1998. Became the first player in Nike Tour history to shot 59 when he fired it in the 2nd round of the Nike Dominion Open. His round included nine birdies and two eagles (one was a hole-in-one) and he shot 27 (9-under) on his second nine.
*At the 1998 Nike Lehigh Valley Open lost a nine hole playoff to Eric Booker. Its the longest playoff in Nike Tour history. Was the Nike Tour player of the month in September of 1998 when he finished T-14th, and T-2nd twice. In his 12 rounds played that month, all of them were par or better.
1998 Nike Tour Summary: Tournaments entered - 22; in money - 15; top-10 finishes - 6; stroke average 70.09 (ranked 5th); money $136,289 (ranked 10th); best finish 2nd (four times) Nike St. Louis Golf Classic, Nike Lehigh Valley Open, T-2nd, Nike Boise Open and Nike Oregon Classic.
