Notes: Howe went to Florida Southern College, where he played on the same team as Lee Janzen, Rocco Mediate and Marco Dawson. Ralph Howe III

Howe went to Florida Southern College, where he played on the same team as Lee Janzen, Rocco Mediate and Marco Dawson. He won the U.S. Amateur Public Links in 1988 outlasting defending champion Kevin Johnson in 37 holes, becoming the first left-handed USGA champion and the first to graduate from Florida Southern and also the first from Long Island, N.Y. With that win, he became the first APL winner to earn an exemption into the Masters in 1989, but missed the cut. Howe also played in the APL in 1984, ?86 and ?89, and played in the U.S. Amateur in 1988 and ?89. Howe competed on the USA Walker Cup Team in 1989 and turned professional soon after. For the next ten years, he spent much of his time on mini-tours and the Nationwide Tour before becoming a pastor.
Howe spent four years in China Shadow Creek in suburban Beijing teaching golf before returning to Orlando to continue as a pastor at Discovery Church, where he oversees more than 2,000 people.
