Scott Pieri

Pieri started playing golf at the age of nine and won a state championship title while at Northrop High School. He played his collegiate golf at Ball State University, where he was a four-year Academic All-American.
Pieri turned professional in 1991 after graduating from Ball State and was a club professional at Chestnut Hills in Fort Wayne from 1991-97 and 1999-2003. He qualified for three PGA Tour events in 1997, the Western Open, Buick Open and Milwaukee Open missing the cut. He did shoot a course- record 65 on his way to winning the Buick Open qualifier. Pieri captured the title at the 2003 Indiana PGA Professional Championship.
He regained his amateur status in 2006 and went on to become a five-time Wayne City Champion, including three consecutive titles from 2010-12. Pieri advanced to the final four in the Western Amateur in 2006, before falling to Pablo Martin.
Pieri returned to professional golf in 2013 and is now focused on qualifying for the PGA Tour Champions.
