Suzy Green-Roebuck

Green-Roebuck was introduced to golf soon after she was old enough to walk. Her father, Peter Green, was a legendary figure in Michigan golf and with his support, Green-Roebuck rapidly progressed from the junior ranks at Orchard Lake Country Club to a state Class A High School champion, a Michigan Women's Amateur champion and a collegiate star and Big Ten champion at Ohio State University before turning professional.
She won four times on the Futures Tour before playing on the LPGA Tour in 1995, '96, '99, and 2001-2003. In that period, she played in 94 events and made 28 cuts. Her best finish was T29 at the Giant Eagle LPGA Classic.
Green-Roebuck got married and had three kids, raising two boys and a girl while still playing great golf. She became an icon in Michigan women's golf by winning the Michigan PGA Women's Open three times. Green-Roebuck won the inaugural Michigan Women's Open in 1994 and again in 1999, leaving a 17-year gap between her past two victories. She won the championship again in 2016 and became the oldest winner at age 49. She did it with her father Pete, serving as her caddie. Pete, 75, is a four-time Michigan Amateur champion who at age 56 in 1996 became the oldest winner of that state championship. She was T24 in the 2018 Senior LPGA Championship.

Green-Roebuck shot 75-75-74-74=298 (+6) to finish T10 in the inaugural U.S. Senior Women's Open.
