T.J. Brudzinski

Brudzinski is the senior vice president for fixed income sales at D.A. Davidson Co. He walked on at Ohio State and had a brief football career. He won the Ohio Mid-Amateur Championship in 2007 and is a seven-time club champion at Worthington Hills C.C., where his qualifier was held. He also won the 2010 Ohio Four-Ball, 2011 International Four-Ball and 2012 Nicklaus Invitational.
Made it to the Round of 32 at the 2014 U.S. Mid-Amateur.
Brother of Bob Brudzinski, who was an All-American football player at Ohio State and spent 13 years in the NFL, playing for the Los Angeles Rams and Miami Dolphins. Bob will caddie for T.J. at this year's U.S. Senior Open.
T.J. started playing golf at age 5. His parents introduced him to the game, but his oldest brother, Denny, was a big influence. He comes from a very athletic family. Both of his parents were accomplished golfers. Brother, Den, played college baseball and is a single-digit handicap golfer.
Immediate family members include his wife, Jody, and their daughters, Samantha (28) and Paige (26).
Qualified for his first U.S. Senior Open in 2015 but missed the cut by three strokes. In 2016 he placed 7th at the George C. Thomas Invitational Golf Tournament and made it to the Final 32 at the U.S. Senior Amateur Golf Championship.
