Yong K. Lee

Lee started playing golf at age 33 when a local friend introduced him to the game. Lee says, "we started at the driving range and moved pretty quickly from there." He turned pro at age 45.
He has had full exemptions on the Korean Senior Tour for the last six years. This will be his second USGA championship. In the 2015 U.S. Senior Open, Lee missed the cut after shooting 76-75.
Lee and his wife, Hyung Lee, have owned and operated numerous dry cleaning businesses all over Washington state. Other family members include his daughter, Regina Lee, and son and caddie, Charles Lee.
Lee was a power lifter in his early 20s. He says, "I think building that strong foundation at a young age has let me keep some swing speed at this age."
Says golf is his best hobby that turned into an obsession.
