Zack Fischer

He played for the University of Texas at Arlington, where he was a two-time first-team All-Southland Conference selection and an integral part of his team's conference victory. In 2009, he won the SLC Preview at the Carter Plantation. Posted a stroke average of 72.50, the second-lowest in school history. Had seven rounds in the 60s, which tied the school record.
In 2009, he competed in U.S. Amateur Public Links after winning medalist honors at his regional qualifying site. Won Western Junior in Austin, TX, cites this as his most memorable golf achievement because it occurred around Father's Day, and his father caddied for him, making the victory especially unique. He also attributes his interest in golf to his father's influence at a young age. He loves to play all sports but is most active in his church softball league.
He turned pro in 2011 and finished T8th in his first event on the Adams Pro Tour. Won the Arkansas State Open and San Antonio State Open the same year. In 2012, made eight cuts of eleven events entered, best finish 2nd at the Perkins Merrill Lynch Open, also finished T4th at the INVISTA-kci Victoria Open and the Bay Oaks Winter Classic, T5th at the Meadowbrook Farms Open.
In 2013, has competed in three PGA Tour events, best finish being T68th at the HP Byron Nelson Championship. Finished T72nd at the Zurich Classic, T96th at the Valero Texas Open, and missed the cut at the U.S. Open. At the end of the year won medalist honors at the Korn Ferry Tour Qualifying Tournament.
2014 Notes: Played in 18 Korn Ferry Tour events making 11 cuts with one top-ten finish. He was T-4th at the Nova Scotia Open, and he finished 77th on the money list.
2015 Notes: Played in 25 Korn Ferry Tour events making 16 cuts with three top-ten finishes. He was 48th on the money list, and his best finish was zt-3rd. In the Korn Ferry Finals, his best finish was T-23rd at the Nationwide Chidrens, he was 87th on the priority ranking.
2016 Notes: Played in 24 Korn Ferry Tour events making 11 cuts with two top-ten finishes. He was 46th on the money list. Both his top-tens came in the last weeks of the season, T-4th at the Digital Ally Open and 3rd at the WinCo Foods Portland Open.
2017 Notes: Played in 22 Korn Ferry Tour events making just nine cuts. He was 138th on the money list, his best finish was T-23rd at the Pinnacle Bank Championship.
2018 Notes: He started four years of no status on any tour. In the four years played in just nine events on the Korn Ferry Tour, Canadian Tour, and PGA Tour. His best finish was T-14th at the 2019 Valero Texas Open. At the end of 2021 was the medalist at the Korn Ferry Tour Qualifying Tournament. He became the first two-time medalist in the modern era of the Korn Ferry Tour Qualifying.
2022 Notes: Played in 23 Korn Ferry Tour events making 14 cuts with four top-ten finishes. He was 38th in the Korn Ferry points list, and his best finish was T-5th at the Panama Championship and T-3rd at the Simmons Bank Open. Struggled in the Korn Ferry Finals, making just one cut finishing T-65th at the Korn Ferry Tour Championship, and was 116th on the Priority Rank. At the end of 2022 played in the VISA Argentina Open and despite being sick most of the week and won the event by a shot which earned him his spot into the Open Championship.
