Jee Young Lee

Started playing golf at the age of 13 and credits her father as the individual most influencing her career.
In 2005, as a member of the Korea LPGA Tour, won the CJ Nine Bridges Classic, becoming the 14th non-LPGA member in history to win an LPGA event and gaining access to become an LPGA member. Also won the TaeYoung Cup Korea Ladies Open, a KLPGA event.
In 2006, recorded six top-10 finishes, including a tie for second at the Wendy's Championship for Children; won the Shisegae Cup Korean Ladies Professional Golfers Championship on the KLPGA, for her second-career international victory.
In 2007, recorded 10 top-10 finishes, including three runner-up finishes: second at the Fields Open in Hawaii; second at the Michelob ULTRA Open at Kingsmill after a three-hole, sudden-death playoff with Suzann Pettersen; and a tie for second at the RICOH Women's British Open; carded a career-low 63 in the third round of the Michelob ULTRA Open at Kingsmill, where she crossed the $1 million mark in career earnings.
In 2008, best finish was second at the Safeway International Presented by Coca-Cola; crossed the $2 million mark in career earnings with a tie for 17th at the Ricoh Women's British Open.
In 2009, recorded a season-best tie for third at the LPGA State Farm Classic where she carded season-low 66s in the first and final round; recorded two additional top-10 finishes at the SBS Open at Turtle Bay, where she tied for 10th, and the MasterCard Classic Honoring Alejo Peralta, where she tied for ninth.
In 2010, best finish was a tie for second at the CN Canadian Women's Open; tied for third at the Kia Classic; tied for fourth at the Bell Micro LPGA Classic.
2011 Notes: Played in 15 events and made five cuts. Best finish was T33 at Sybase Match Play championship and she earned $22,582, placing her 116th on the money list.
2012 Notes: Played in 13 events and made eight cuts, with her best finish being T12 at the Safeway Classic. Earned $68,650, which ranked her 90th on the Tour money list.
2013 Notes: Played in 21 events, making 16 cuts. Had one top-10 finish, a tie for fourth at the RR Donnelley LPGA Founders Cup. Earned $172,692 which placed her 65th on the Tour money list.
2014 Notes: Her best finish has been a tie for 16th at the Kraft Nabisco Championship. where she finished the tournament at 1-under par. She recently tied for 24th at the Manulife Financial LPGA Classic, where she shot 9-under par.
When she's not playing golf, her hobbies include cooking and playing PSP (PlayStation Portable) games. She really likes listening to music and loves listening to Beyoncé.
