Keith Mitchell

Mitchell was introduced to the game by his father, who started playing at an older age. Mitchell played college golf at the University of Georgia. After graduating with a business and real estate degree, he joined the PGA Tour Latinoamerica in 2015 and played in 14 events with five top-10 finishes. Best was 2nd at the Aberto Do Brasil, where he was in a three-man playoff won by Alexandre Rocha. At the end of the year, he made it to the Korn Ferry Tour Qualifying tournament, where he finished T-108th.

2018 Notes: He played 29 PGA Tour events in his rookie season, making 21 cuts with four top-10 finishes. He was one of eight rookies to advance to the FedExCup Playoffs, making it through the first three events before ending his season at No. 67 in the standings. He made his first run at the Corales Puntacana Resort and Club Championship. He birdied the 72nd hole to finish 2nd, four shots behind winner Brice Garnett. The following week, he shot rounds of 67-71-67-69 to finish T-6th. A month later, still in Texas at the AT&T Byron Nelson, he fired a final-round 63 to finish T-3rd, four shots behind winner Aaron Wise. He had his last top-10 of the season with a T-7th at the John Deere Classic.
2019 Notes: Played in 26 PGA Tour events making 17 cuts with three top-ten finishes. Was 50th in the FedExCup standings. After a slow start on the West Coast, Mitchell fired rounds of 68-66-70-67 to win the Honda Classic. He became the 13th former Georgia Bulldog to win on the PGA Tour. Playing the following week at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, his game was still hot. His final-round 66 gave him a T-6th result, four shots behind Francesco Molinari. As one of the top three finishers, he earned a spot in the field at Royal Portrush for the British Open. He was T-8th at the Wells Fargo Championship. In the FedExCup was T-64th in the Northern Trust and T-52nd in the BMW Championship.
2020 Notes: Played in 21 PGA Tour events making 11 cuts with one top-ten finish. Was 112th in the final FedExCup standings. He was T-5th at Arnold Palmer Invitational and was four back of winner Tyrrell Hatton. After the break best finish was T-22nd at the Memorial. In the FedExCup playoffs was T-61st at the Northern Trust.
2021 Notes: Played in 28 PGA Tour events making 16 cuts with four top-ten finishes. He was 65th in the FedExCup standings. With partner Brandt Snedeker the two finished T-4th at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, two shots back of the playoff. Led going into the final round of the Wells Fargo Championship, shot 72, and finished T-3rd, two shots back of winner Rory McIlroy. He was 5th at the 3M Open, three shots back of winner Cameron Champ. In the FedExCup playoffs was T-8th at the Northern Trust and T-57th at the BMW Championship.
2022 Notes: Played in 26 PGA Tour events making 20 cuts with six top-ten finishes. Was 40th in the FedExCup standings. With opening rounds of 62-64, held a five-shot lead after the second round of the CJ Cup@Summit. Shot 73-67 to finish T-3rd, three shots back of winner Rory McIlroy. Shot 65-63 over the weekend to finish T-7th at the Sony Open in Hawaii. He was T-10th at the Phoenix Open and T-9th at the Honda Classic. Finished T-7th at the RBC Canadian Open and T-6th at the Travelers Championship, seven shots back of winner Xander Schauffele. In the FedExCup playoffs was T-31st at the FedEx St. Jude Championship and T-32nd at the BMW Championship.
2023 Notes: Was T-9th in the Houston Open. Finished T-4th at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, four shots back of winner Justin Rose. He held a share of the lead after the first round of The Genesis Invitational and finished 5th, five shots back of winner Jon Rahm. After the WGC-Dell Match Play, Mitchell was 46th in the Official World Golf Rankings and was invited to play in the Masters were he finished 53rd.
