Ollie Schniederjans

Oliver "Ollie" Frank Schniederjans was born in Dallas, Texas, to Oliver and Linda Schniederjans. He lived briefly in North Andover, Massachusetts, and grew up in Powder Springs, Georgia. Schniederjans started playing golf at age 11 when his friends introduced him to the game. He also played baseball and basketball growing up. His favorite sports teams are the New England Patriots and Boston Bruins. He graduated in 2010 from Harrison High School in Kennesaw, Georgia, and played college golf at Georgia Tech. As a junior, Schniederjans won five of six events leading up to the NCAA Division I Championship, where he finished runner-up after a three-hole playoff. He won the 2014 Mark H. McCormack Medal after reaching number one in the World Amateur Golf Ranking, a position he held for 41 consecutive weeks. A two-time Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Player of the Year, Schniederjans was named first-team All-American following his junior and senior seasons and played for the U.S. Palmer Cup team in 2014 and 2015. Ollie earned his bachelor's degree in management from Georgia Tech on May 2, 2015.
He played his first PGA Tour event at the 2015 Valspar Championship, missing the cut. As the McCormack winner, he earned exemptions into the 2015 U.S. Open and the 2015 Open Championship, after which he turned professional. He made his professional debut at the 2015 RBC Canadian Open. At the end of the year, earned a place on the Web.Com Tour for 2016 with a T-9th finish at Q-School.
2016 Web.com Summary: Tournaments Entered - 20; In Money - 12; Top-10 Finishes - 5; Scoring Average - 70.06 (Rank 48th); Money - $279,127 (Rank 6th); Finals Money - $2,560 (110th); Priority Rank (12th); Best Finish, winner Air Capital Classic beating J.J. Spaun and Collin Morikawa in a playoff. Also lost a playoff to Brad Fritsch at the Servientrega Championship. Locked up his PGA Tour card for the 2017 season with a sixth-place finish on the 2016 Web.com Tour regular season money list.
2017 Notes: In his rookie year on the PGA Tour played in 28 events making 19 cuts. Had 5 top-10 finishes, best finish was a 2nd place finish at the Wyndham Championship, a shot back of winner Henrik Stenson. Finished T-3rd at the RBC Heritage, finishing at 11-under 273 and 2 shots behind winner Wesley Bryan. Was 60th in the final FedExCup rankings.
2018 Notes: Played in 27 PGA Tour events making 19 cuts with three top-ten finishes. Was T-7th at the Sony Open in Hawaii. Shot a final round 65 to finish T-3rd at the Waste Management Phoenix Open, he was three back of the playoff. Struggled in his next 16 starts, he didn't have a top-25 until he finished 5th in the Barracuda Championship. Ended the season 98th in the FedExCup.
2019 Notes: Best finish T-16th at the Players Championship.
