Notes: He is best know for two things. His 1938 Masters victory and is the only player to defeat Walter Hagen in a playoff, when he beat the "Haig" at the 1932 Carolina Open. Had one of the greatest streaks ever in golf in between August 1934 and April 1935. In 50 out of 54 tournament he entered, he broke par on all but three, when he equalled it. A member of the 1935 & '37 Ryder Cup team, Picard was force to cut back on tournament play in 1940 due to illness. ...
