Spike McRoy

Winner 1990 Cajun Classic, 1992 Alabama Open and two Hooters Tour events. Played on the Hogan Tour in 1991, finishing 188th on money list. Before 1997 in his only previous PGA Tour start he missed the cut in the 1991 Buick Southern Open.
* Full name is Robert Lynn McRoy Jr., earned his nickname from a great uncle who was a fan of the Detroit Tigers and star player Ty Cobb. Cobb was know for his aggressive baserunning with spikes up going into bases. The great uncle sent Spike a miniature Tigers uniform when he was born.
* Got his tour card with a T-37th finish in the 1996 Qualifying school.
